Project & research interests: Ecosystems biology and innovative eco-engineering to optimise the assembly and activity of anaerobic, waste-conversion biofilms.”

My project is focused on biofilm development, and microbial interactions, in novel waste treatment systems, including the systems being developed for the Transforming Waste project.

Background: I graduated with a First Class Honours Degree in Environmental Science from NUI Galway in 2012.  I received a University Scholar Award for the academic year 2010-11.

Other interests: I enjoy snooker, football and rugby.
